Privacy Policy
Moong-i's Game Playground ("the Site", including moong-i-games.com and its game subdomains) respects your privacy. This page explains what information is handled and how it is used.
1. Information we handle
The Site has no sign-up or login and does not create accounts. While you use it, the following information may be processed:
- Leaderboard entries: the name (nickname) and score you enter when posting to the weekly ranking. Entering a name is optional. This information is stored on our server in a Cloudflare D1 database. Please avoid using your real name or any information that identifies you.
- Browser storage (localStorage): your best score, game settings, and language choice are saved only in your own browser. They are not sent to our server and you can clear them any time in your browser settings.
- Server access logs: when you visit, ordinary access data such as your IP address, browser type, and request time is processed by Cloudflare, which provides our hosting and network services.
2. How we use information
- To compile and display the weekly ranking
- To keep your settings and records and to provide conveniences such as remembering your language
- To run the Site reliably, keep it secure, and investigate errors or abuse
- To show advertising that helps cover running costs (see section 3)
3. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense and others)
The Site may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense to cover operating costs. When ads are shown, the following applies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- For more on how Google uses data in advertising, see Google's Advertising and Privacy policy.
Information collected by advertising partners is governed by their own privacy policies. The Site operator does not control it.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. The Site itself does not use cookies for logging in, but the advertising services in section 3 and providers such as Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, for example:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Block all cookies, or Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Blocking cookies may limit some features, and the ads you see may be less relevant.
5. Retention and deletion
Leaderboard data is kept for as long as needed to run the weekly ranking and may be cleaned up periodically. Server access logs are handled under Cloudflare's own policies. If you would like your leaderboard name and score deleted, contact us using the details in section 12 and we will handle the request within a reasonable time. localStorage values disappear when you clear the Site's data in your browser.
6. Service providers and international processing
The Site uses services from Cloudflare, Inc. for hosting, database, and network security, and Google Fonts for typefaces. Because of how these services work, your information may be processed on servers outside your country. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your information. Since the leaderboard stores only a name and a score, it helps if you tell us the name you entered and roughly when you posted so we can find your entry.
8. Children
The Site offers casual games, but it does not knowingly collect personal information from children (under 14 in Korea, and under the applicable age of digital consent elsewhere, such as 13 in the United States). We ask parents and guardians to remind children not to enter real names or contact details. If we learn that a child's information has been entered, we will delete it promptly, and a parent or guardian may request its deletion.
9. Regional notes (Korea, GDPR)
We aim to operate in line with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. Visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom may be covered by the GDPR and UK GDPR, which can require prior consent for personalized advertising and non-essential cookies. We are considering a Consent Management Platform (CMP) for this purpose. Until one is in place, please manage personalized ads and cookies using the options described in sections 3 and 4.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may change as laws, our services, or advertising rules change. When it does, we will post the update and a new effective date on this page, and flag significant changes clearly.
11. Effective date
This policy takes effect on 2026-10-27.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests to access or delete your data, email burnedleg12@gmail.com or use the Contact page.
